I disagree with this statement that this thread is an identical thread to 1 already started.

I was thinking about what my favorite Christmas album was, an so I think this thread is quite appropriate to make the forum member choose their favorite Christmas album vs. a list of their favorite Christmas albums.

So, the other thread has some of this, but more of that, and favorite songs, etc.

So, to set aside all other Christmas albums, what is your Favorite Album/CD?

Mine would be Johnny Mathis ~ A Personal Collection

Without question, the heavyweight undisputed champ(due south) for me are...
~"Songs For Christmas" Vol. 1-five" by Sufjan Stevens
~"Silver & Gilded: Songs For Christmas Vol. 6-10" by Sufjan Stevens
He'due south the poet laureate of Winter Solstice/Yule/Christmas...incredible originals & nearly as stunning covers...

After the mountain of Sufjan Stevens, I'd say that I especially dig "A Christmas Gift For You From Phil Spector", the old classic with The Ronettes, Darlene Love, The Crystals & Bobbie Sox and The Blue Jeans, & "Light Of The Stable" by Emmylou Harris is another fave...

  10. Steve Lawrence/Eydie Gorme-Happy Holidays
  11. Sufjan Stevens Silver & Gold
  12. If y'all haven't checked it out yet, practice give a listen to "Songs For Christmas" Vol. i-v" past Sufjan Stevens. I love "Silvery & Gold: Songs For Christmas Vol. 6-ten" by Sufjan Stevens too, but I call up the first one is every bit as groovy as the 2d one!!
  13. I have both sets. I like the first set pretty well, but the second prepare really blew me away.
  14. Thought I would bump this one up a bit since it contains some of the nicer pictures of the album covers.

A person favorite Christmas anthology, not easy to find on CD, at least last year it wasn't.
