With Microsoft Forms, you can send your form or quiz to students, parents, and colleagues and collect their responses in a few different means, depending upon your needs.

Send and collect responses

1. In Microsoft Forms, open the form or quiz for which yous desire to collect responses.

2. Select Send.

   Notes:

   • If you lot don't see the Transport push, select the Share button and proceed to the next step.

   • If y'all're on the mobile site, make sure you're on the Questions tab and and then press the arrow button in the center.

3. In the Transport pane under Send and collect responses, select the drop-down list and choose from whom you desire to collect responses.

   

   • Anyone tin can respond - Anyone within or outside of your organization can submit responses to your class or quiz.

   • Only people in my organization can respond - Only people inside your organization, signed in with a piece of work or school business relationship, can submit responses to your form or quiz.

   • Specific people in my system tin can respond - Only people or groups in your organization that you lot specify can respond to your form.

     Notes:

     • On the mobile site under Ship and collect responses, select the linkOnly people in my organization can reply and choose from whom you want to collect responses.

     • But people in my organization can respond and Specific people in my organization can respond options are but available for Part 365 Teaching and Microsoft 365 Apps for business users. Sign in with your work or school account to access these settings.

     • To collect responses from specific people in your arrangement, just users with a valid Microsoft 365mailbox tin can be selected. Users with other mailboxes, such as those hosted on a dedicated Commutation Server and accessed via REST APIs, are not supported. Learn more.

     Note: Specific people in my organisation tin can respond option applies to individuals and groups only within your organization. You can designate a full of up to 100 individual names or group names. Of the 100 limit, you tin designate up to 20 groups (and each grouping tin contain up to 1,000 individuals). For example, you lot can collect responses from 80 individuals and xx groups for a total of 100.

4. Select the Shorten URL choice if you desire a shorter URL than what's provided. Adjacent, choose how you lot desire to ask for responses.

   Note:The Shorten URL selection is non available when signed in to Forms with a Microsoft personal account (Hotmail, Live, or Outlook.com) or if you're using the mobile site.

   Select the Email button. When your designated e-mail application opens, add electronic mail addresses of the people for whom y'all intend the form.    Annotation:If yous selectSpecific people in my organization can respond, the names of individuals and groups you lot've specified will pre-populate in the "Bcc" line of your e-mail as long as your total recipient list is fewer than 1,200 characters in length. Change your email as needed before sending.
